Lord, are you here?

LORD ARE YOU STILL WITH ME?

Have you ever felt yourself feeling somewhat distant from the Lord?  Did the thought go through your mind, Lord are you still with me?

Once a person is born again  John 3:3 - Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  John 3:5 - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  The Lord has promised to never leave us, nor forsake us.  (Hebrews 13:5 - I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee).

The reason a child of God may sometimes feel distant from the Lord is because of a lack of communication.  If you stay out of the word of God you automatically become distant from the Lord.  Jesus is living inside of you and you have made him a stranger!  God desires for us to know him, to pray unceasingly and to stay in his word.  This is how we stay close to the Lord.  This is how we keep our relationship with God intact!

STOP ignoring the Lord.  Stop hurting his feelings by neglecting him and placing him on the bottom of your list of priorities.  Jesus wants to be first in your life, that is why he has said in Matthew 6:33 - But seek ye FIRST the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and these things shall be added unto you.

The Lord is saying:  Those that seek me early shall find me, and I will guide you and will reveal to you your wrong doings. I will uphold you by the right hand of my righteousness as you go throughout the day.  Seek ye First the Kingdom of God and all of these things shall be added unto you.  God promises to supply us with our necessities if we SEEK FIRST the Kingdom of God through our prayer!

Matthew 6:25-34 - Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, what shall we eat? Or, What shall we drink? Or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

The Lord has promised to never leave us or forsake us.  We forsake the Lord.  We stray away from his grace.  It is His tender mercy that does not consume us but lovingly draws us back to him.

If you find yourself feeling distant from the Lord, it is time to take self-inventory of your prayer life.  Take self-inventory of your relationship with God. God is with you, waiting on you, trying to get your attention, wanting to hear from YOU!  You feel distance because you have allowed yourself to become distance from his grace.

Stay close to the Lord and he will be close to and you will not feel so distant nor will you ask, Lord are you still with me.  Remember, He is always with YOU, however, YOU are not always with him.

Revelation 3:20 - Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
